چکیده

Herein, we report a comparative study of photocatalytic (Xe-lamp) and sonocatalytic (345 kHz power ultrasound) degradation Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) Rhodamine B (RhB) in the presence Ti0 Ti@TiO2 core-shell nanoparticles (NPs). NPs have been obtained by sonohydrothermal treatment (20 kHz, 200 °C) commercially available pure water. The material is composed quasi-spherical particles (30–150 nm) coated 5–15 nm crystals anatase. In contrast to pristine TiO2, exhibit extend photo response from UV NIR light region due absorption nonplasmonic Ti core. EDTA can be oxidized effectively photocatalysis NPs. By contrast, air passivated was found inactive process for both RhB. Photocatalytic over exhibits strong photothermal effect, which has attributed higher yield oxidizing radicals produced at bulk temperature. efficiency RhB depends strongly on concentration. At [RhB] ? 1 × 10?3 M, its not feasible self-absorption. lower concentrations, observed, but compared EDTA. We that efficient sonochemical does require any catalysts. For processes, RhB, processes are more effective Ar/O2 gas mixture Ar. results suggest choice optimal technology organic pollutants determined their optical complexing properties.

Photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B, and phenol red dyes using NiMn2O4 nanoparticles prepared by a new approach

NiMn2O4 nanoparticles have been successfully prepared through sol-gel method. The effects of different factors such as the type of solvent, and amino acid temperature were investigated on the size and morphologies of products. The smallest particle size of NiMn2O4 nanoparticles was found to be 25 nm in diameter. The magnetic properties of the samples were also measured by an alternating gradien...

Effect of WO3 Nanoparticles on Congo Red and Rhodamine B Photo Degradation

Tungsten trioxide nanoparticles with two different sizes (average particle sizes about 50 and 80 nm) were prepared by the spray pyrolysis method. Photo degradation of Congo Red (azo dye) showed that photo catalytic property of the as-prepared WO3 nanoparticles with average size about 80 nm is higher than the sample with average size about 50 nm. Photo degradation of Rhodamine B (...

A Comparative Photocatalytic Activity of ZnO/SiO2 and V2O5-ZnO/SiO2 by Investigating the Degradation of Rhodamine B

ZnO/SiO2 was prepared using sol-gel method, and vanadium particles were loaded on this nano-photocatalyst by wet incipient method. They characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive (EDX) analysis andFouriertransform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The XRD patterns showed that the zinc oxide samples have a wurtzite structure and vanadium dope...
